Chapter One · The Weave

Sky Blue, on handloom silk.

Hand-woven in Kanchipuram, with pure zari running through warp and weft. Every metre takes hours at the loom — the border, the body, and the pallu each set in a single continuous pass.

Chapter Two · Heritage

From Kanchipuram.

Every NYSA SILK saree is hand-woven by a master weaver in the cluster where its tradition was born. We buy directly from the weaver families we know by name — no middlemen, no factories.

Chapter Three · On the Body

How it falls.

Handloom Sky Blue Silk Saree — the drape

Chapter Four · The Drape

The way it moves.

The fall of the pleats, the pallu over the shoulder, the way the silk catches the light.

Chapter Five · The Detail

A little closer.

Border, pallu, motif. Nothing about a hand-woven silk reads the same twice — the slight irregularities are the proof of the loom.

Inherently NYSA

The science of the silk.

Every NYSA piece begins with the fibre itself. We weave only pure mulberry silk, set real zari, and dye in colour-fast tones — so the saree you fold away tonight is the same one your daughter unfolds decades from now.

This sky blue Handloom saree was woven in Kanchipuram, in the cluster where its tradition was born. Its border and pallu carry pure zari, set thread by thread.

100% Pure Mulberry Silk: Reeled from the cocoon of the domesticated silkworm — softer, stronger, and longer-fibred than wild silk.
Heirloom-grade weight: Woven to a substantial 780–950g — the heft of true mulberry silk.
Tested · pure-silver-cored zari: Real metallic zari, drawn and twisted around a silk core — tested for purity at the loom, never imitation.
Natural-dye, colour-fast: Dyed in deep, lasting tones that hold their depth across a lifetime of wears and washes.

Questions

Things people ask.

Is this saree handwoven?

Yes — every NYSA SILK saree is 100% handwoven on traditional looms. Each one carries the small irregularities that machine-made silk cannot replicate.

What is Pure Zari?

Pure Zari uses real gold or silver metallic threads, traditionally drawn and twisted around a silk core. We test our zari for purity at the loom.

How should I care for this saree?

Dry clean only. Roll, do not fold, in muslin between wears. Store away from direct sunlight. Treat the zari as you would jewellery — keep it dry.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, and Singapore. Each order is arranged individually, and our team will confirm the courier, timeline, and tracking once your saree is dispatched.

What is your return policy?

7-day hassle-free returns with full refund. The saree should be unworn and returned in its original packaging.
